Mr. Milton Edward Fortenberry

Milton Edward Fortenberry passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. Mr. Fortenberry was born to the late Grover and Dessie Fortenberry on April 20, 1943. Visitation will be Monday, September 1st from 10:00AM until the 12:15PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories. He was retired from the Jackson Police Department as a juvenile detective for 25 years. Milton is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Myrna Fortenberry. He was a loving father to his sons, Randy (Panda) Fortenberry of Columbus and Andy Fortenberry of Brandon; brother, G.C. Fortenberry of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Bobbie Beckham of Mobile, AL and Mildred Porter of Tampa, FL.
