Mrs. Louise Polk Wheeler

Louise Polk Wheeler, 94, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, Mississippi. She was born Louise Gwendolyn Polk to Sheldon and Leona Waltman Polk of Prentiss, Mississippi. Louise worked for many years at Sears Credit Department in Jackson. Mrs. Wheeler was predeceased in death by her husband, George D. Wheeler of Raymond. She is survived by sons, Phil A. Axton and wife, Kathy of Brandon, Mississippi and Thomas Gerald Booth of Griffin, Georgia. She had 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with interment at Prentiss City (Polk) Cemetery in Prentiss, Mississippi.
