Mrs. Lou Sullivan

Emma Louise “Lou” Sullivan, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Plainview Assisted Living. Visitation will be 9am until the 10am funeral service Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow at New Zion Cemetery in Mize, MS. Mrs. Sullivan was born in Magee, MS to the late Estus Ainsworth and Zona Lee Brewer Ainsworth. Her working career was with the MS State Retirement Center as Manager. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a hard worker, enjoyed working in her yard and dearly loved by her five nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Braxton Sullivan, and her brother Ray Ainsworth. Survivors include her brother, Ed (Ann) Ainsworth of Richland; sister-in-law, Mavis Ainsworth of Flowood; nieces, Betty Hall, Linda (Randy) Bell, Kathy (Ray) Richardson, Carolyn Hernandez and Lisa (Ken) Simpson; numerous great nieces and nephews.
