Linda Diane Cooper Ham, 70, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, June 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 25th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Richland City Cemetery. A lifelong resident of the Florence area, Mrs. Ham was born March 11, 1947 to William A. and Elizabeth Claire Odom Cooper. She worked as a medical transcriptionist. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed all things outdoors from flowers, gardening, even yardwork. Mrs. Ham was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bobby Ham. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Haskel) Hood of Puckett and Patricia (Michael) Stringer of Florence; brothers, Tim (Carol) Cooper of Richland, Gary (Sherri) Cooper of Utica, and Junior (Linda) Cooper of Magee; sisters, Maxine (Dwayne) Meadows of Virginia and Jean Cooper of Richland; 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
