Mrs. Laura Hammond Moore Jacque

Laura Hammond Moore Jacque, 50, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017at her home in Port Washington, WI. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 5-8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 11am, May 17, at Alta Woods Baptist Church in South Jackson. Laura was a graduate of Wingfield High School and attended the University of Southern, MS, pursuing a degree in psychology. She was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church for many years. Laura was self-employed as a massage therapist. Her Hobbies were writing and practicing yoga. Survivors include her sons, John (Shelby) Moore III and Andrew Moore of Byram, MS and Greggory Jacque of Port Washington, WI; parents Lark and Sandra Hammond of Terry, MS; sisters, Lesa (Jeffrey) Shuping of Sumter, SC and Lana (John) Goins of Terry, MS; granddaughter, Madeline Grace Moore; two nephews, six nieces and close friends, Andy and Satu Matinpalo of Finland and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
