Mr. Kendall Traxler

Kendall Doyle Traxler,46 , passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Red Star Ward, with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Red Star cemetery in Wesson. Mr Traxler was a lifelong resident of Hinds County. He was a Barber Instructor at Traxler School of Hair, where he was director. Mr. Traxler was an avid cattleman and was past president and member of Hinds County Cattlemen Association. He loved people, was a master griller, often involved in fundraisers for others and loved to help at his church, Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints-Hazlehurst Branch. He was also an avid fisherman. Survivors include his parents Vic & Aileen Traxler of Utica; brothers Kevin (Lynn) Traxler of Brandon and Dwight Traxler of Utica; the joy of his life nephew Thomas Traxler; two nieces Cortney (Matt) Townsend, Victoria Traxler and a host of friends.
