Jean Dear McKinley

Jean Dear McKinley, 87, passed away February 18, 2017 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2017 and Monday February 20, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs. McKinley was a member of Star Baptist Church. She will be remembered most as a loving mother and grandmother who made great sacrifices to care for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Colbert McKinley; her parents Hardy and Ola Dear; brother Donald Dear; and sister Juanita Dear Burton. Mrs. McKinley is survived by her three sons; Marshall (Betty) McKinley of Star, Haley McKinley of Star, and Jack (Cindy) McKinley of Florence; three daughters; Cynthia (Victor) Ford of Star, Harriet Garner of Wesson, and Evelyn (David) Bass of Brandon; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
