Mr. James "Jim" L. Roe

James “Jim” L. Roe, 93, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Wisteria Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30th from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories also in Florence. Mr. Roe was a Veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and he enjoyed reading. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eva Roe; his brother, Harold Roe; and his sister, Martyne Lich. He is survived by his wife, Betty Roe of Florence; son, James L. (Judy) Roe III of Pascagoula, MS; daughters, Karleen (Mike) Chambers of Tulsa, OK and Carol (Ron) Ellison of McKinney, TX; stepdaughters, Kristie (Tim) Gardner of Florence and Tammy (Lyle) Lane of Pearl; brothers, Thomas “Joe” (Carol) Roe of Anchorage, KY and Ray Roe of Lyndon, KY; sister, Lois Roe of Lyndon, KY and a blended family of 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
