Mrs. Helen Marie Stewart

Mrs. Helen Marie Stewart, 64, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson with her family by her side. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16th from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. A lifelong resident of Rankin County, Mrs. Stewart enjoyed cooking, reading and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed keeping the Kindergarteners at the Frontiers program at Flowood Elementary. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Glen Stewart and her father, Marvin Ivey. She is survived by her mother, Minnie Marie Ivey of Brandon; Son, Gary Allen Stewart (Candace) of Pearl; Daughter, Tammy Eakin (James) of Brandon; Brothers, Dale Ivey (Pam), David Ivey (Tammy Bates) and Glen Ivey (Twanna) of Madison; Sisters, Wanda Vaughn (Leonard) and Sue Smitson (Mark) of Pelahatchie; 9 Grandchildren, 4 Step-grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and 8 nieces and nephews.
