Harold Wayne Bishop, 63, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at his home in Raymond. Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and from 11am to the 2pm service time on Friday, April 25. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Bishop was born in Hollandale, MS to the late Hubart Lamar Bishop and Vera Wilcher Bishop. He lived almost all his life in the Jackson area, self-employed as a diesel mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Wade Bishop and sister Katherine Bishop Vanhorn. Survivors include his son Jason Edwin Bishop (Leslie) of Brandon; daughter Brenda Marie Bishop Smith (Dion) of Brandon; brothers Herbert Levan Bishop (Yuvonne) of Raymond, Walter Lamar Bishop (Debra) of Pearl, James Farrell Bishop (Diedra) of Pearl; sister, Willie Bishop Patterson (Billy) of Terry; grandchildren, Britney Vaughn, Katie Rivers Bishop and Jacob Alexander Bishop.
