Mr. Gary Carter,63, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his home in Richland. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the 5:30 p.m. funeral service at Gospel Chapel in Pearl. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories in Florence. Born in Rome, GA and raised in California, Mr. Carter has lived in Richland since 2011. He was a member of Gospel Chapel. He was a knowledgeable builder in the commercial and industrial building industry. He was a friend to all; love life, his wife, family and his rabbit. Bro. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Fate and Mary Carter; and is sisters, Sharon Carter and Wanda Carter. He is survived by is wife of over 10 years, Emily Carter of Richland; sons, Brian Carter of Riverside, CA, Gary Carter of Riverside, CA and John Clay of Richland; daughter, Mary Carter of Riverside, CA; brothers, Timmy Carter of CA, David Carter of CA and Phillip Carter of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Tina Carter of CA, Melody Collins of Bentonia, MS, Faye Rodgers of Yazoo City, MS, Doris Langham of CA, Jean Ricker of Bull Head City, AZ, Bea Worley of CA, Hazel Mayfield of Bull Head City, AZ, Kaye Shoopman of Pearl, MS, and Tammy Powers of CA; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
