Mrs. Eula Marie Carmack

Eula Marie Carmack was born to Will and Cora Carr on May 9, 1916 in Swebeborg, MO. and departed her life on January 23, 2015 at the age of 98. Funeral services will be Monday, January 26 at 1:00pm, Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 3:00pm-5:00pm, and again one hour preceding the service Monday. On March 30, 1936 she was united in marriage to Virgil Carmack. They enjoyed 75 yrs. together before the Lord called Virgil home. To this union two daughters were born, Norma Carmack Kinsley and Barbara Carmack Sermons. During their married life Eula and Virgil worked in a grocery store in Crocker, MO. She was a clerk, and he was a butcher. Through this outlet and their church, they made countless friends. Eula was a member of the Crocker Christian Church. After moving to Byram 10 yrs. ago, she attended Wynndale Baptist Church where she was a member of the Young at Heart Sunday school class and Wynndale Winners. She will be most remembered for her servant- like heart and her excellent cooking skills. She always had a smile and a kind word to give. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, a son-in-law: Gerald Kinsley, and her loving husband. She is survived by her two daughters, Norma Kinsley and Barbara Sermons, and son-in-law Bill Sermons. Also surviving her are five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews. To quote her great grand daughter, “What a caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly”. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crocker Christian Church Bus Fund, P.O.
