Mr. Ervin Yarbrough, Jr.

Ervin Amber Yarbrough, Jr., 89, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 11am until the 12noon funeral service Saturday at Green Temple Church of God in Christ in Terry, MS. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Yarbrough was born in Belzoni, MS to the late Ervin Amber Yarbrough, Sr. and Jewel Lee Davis Yarbrough. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict, receiving the Purple Heart and retiring as Sergeant First Class. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Sue Yarbrough. Survivors include daughters Margaret Mabry (John) of Gautier, MS and Becky Boyd (Randy) of Zebulon, GA; sister Carolyn Howell (J.D.); grandchildren Durenda Mabry Clover (Bart), Robert Mabry and Amber Buck; great grandchildren Will Mabry, Ryan Mabry, Evan Buck and Maggie Clover; great great grandchild Carson Mabry; number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
