Mrs. Emma Jo Barron

Emma Jo Barron, 81, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram, MS. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 13th from 5pm to 8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS and Monday, July 14th at 10am until the 11am service at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Florence. Interment will follow at Clear Branch Church Cemetery. Emma Jo was a life long resident of Florence. She was a faithful servant of Mt Zion Baptist Church where she was a charter member and taught Sunday school for years. She worked for School Pictures for 25 years as an editor. Emma Jo was a loving wife, mother and mamaw that loved to cook for her family and entertain. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years Clyde Barron. She is survived by her son Charles (Debbie) Barron of Florence; brother JR Crain of Florence; sister Mildred Burnell of Florence; grandchildren Chris Barron, Erin Bennett and Carey Barron; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
