Ms. Carolyn R. Driskell

Carolyn Rae Brooks Driskell, 70, went to be our Lord and Savior Saturday, April 23, 2016. Visitation will be May 2nd 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. A Memorial Service will be May 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at Episcopal Church Of The Good Shepherd in Terry with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. A Jackson native, Ms. Driskell was born and raised in Jackson and graduated from Central high School in 1964. Ms. Driskell resided in Terry for the past sixteen years where she was a member of Episcopal Church Of The Good Shepherd. Ms. Driskell was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Brooks and Jamsie Rae Tullos, both of Jackson, MS. Ms. Driskell was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who is survived by her daughters Deborah Summers of St. Francisville, LA, Catherine Dunn (Brian) of Terry, and Jo Ann Jordan of Jackson. Grandchildren Elizabeth McCord (Jeremy) of Pearl, William Davis of Byram, Ashley Williams (Justin) of Pearl, and Anna Dunn of Terry , 3 great grandchildren and longtime friend Ron Alleman.
