Mrs. Betty Jean Goodman

Betty Jean Goodman, 71, of Florence passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. There will be a visitation from 11AM-12PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. It is difficult to put in a few lines the legacy Betty’s life leaves to her family and friends. She was an artist, a painter, a lover of books and the Bible. She was a woman with a keen wit and a sharp sense of humor who could easily laugh at herself. She was a sculpted beauty, created by the good Lord! Betty’s true heritage will be her love for life and her family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Reeves Goodman III. She is survived by her son, Ronald Goodman; daughter, Tammy (John) Carlee; grandchildren, Jonathon and Christopher Goodman and Heather Carlee Cook; and eight precious great grandchildren.
